Lulu Barton is a lifelong dancer, performer, and community builder based in Oklahoma. Originally from China, she began her formal training at the age of 7 in ballet and jazz, and went on to earn a Music Education degree in China. With over 10 years of ballroom dance experience and a diverse performance background, Lulu has been actively involved in the Oklahoma dance scene since 2014.
She has performed in multiple productions, including The RACEy Show and Hip-Hop Nutcracker, and has been a member of the Race Dance Collective since 2019 for 7 years. Beyond performing, Lulu is deeply passionate about creating opportunities for others through dance. As the founder of 8 Count Studio, she is dedicated to building an inclusive space where people can train, express themselves, and feel a true sense of community.
Lulu believes dance is more than movement — it’s connection, confidence, and a way to bring people together.
