Briaja is a self taught hip-hop dancer with a love for performing, choreographing, and teaching. Officially starting her professional training at Race Dance Collective in 2021, Briaja has since become an official Race Company member for the 2021-2022 season starring in their Hip Hop Nutcracker Performance as “Mom” in 2022, danced alongside Toni Braxton for her viral hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough for Me” on her joint tour with Boys || Men & New Edition. As well as choreograph numerous dances for special performances such as Race Dance Collectives “Bonded” in 2023. She was selected as a featured dance instructor for Calderon Dance Festival in 2026, and invited as a guest teacher at Norman Public Schools that same year. She currently teaches Hip Hop and K-Pop classes at multiple dance studios such as Race Dance Collective, 8 Count Studio, Sweet Yield studio and Hip Hop cardio classes at Shape Fitness in Midwest City. On stage, Briaja has a powerful and energetic stage presence. In the classroom, she brings her passion for teaching students to be confident in themselves and discover the joy and excitement that comes with being a performer.
